I was looking through some 360 related sites and stumbled across a site that 'claims' their software can produce 1:1 game copies from multiple platform formats...

... At first I figured it was just a scam, but having looked around, it does actually seem to get some decent reviews from various places.

Now obviously I realise how ridiculous this sounds, so please don't flame me for being a noob. I've only posted it to see if anyone has actually heard of or had any experience with the software. Infact, the reason I posted in 'Newbie Chat' was cos I figured it would just be moved here anyway.

I find it pretty hard to believe that it could work properly, without the need for fw/mod, and yet still somehow be safe (if it indeed copies at all). We'd all be using it if it were so simple... wouldn't we?

those things are just like the same dvd ripping packages that people were getting suckered into buying.

all they have are tools/links to sites/guides/tools available freely on the web, and found using things as simple as GOOGLE.

COMPLETE RIPOFFS of other peoples hard work, and time.

Isn't it impossible to produce a 1:1 copy of xbox games as the origional disks have areas with info on that dvd burners cannot write to?

Yes thats right.. it is impossible to make a true 1:1 copy. The job of the hacked firmware is to make it look like 1:1.

i got snookered into buying something called gamecopy pro once that is what this sounds like.its just a scam dont go near it i made them refund my money.

I looked into it as well . All their doing is making an .exe that directs you to the proper url links to already free software . Nice looking interface but that's as far as it goes being nice . Google is your friend make sure you use it .
