Hi all.

I had my 7xxxx Lite-On flashed to ixtreme 1.6 this summer, but I didn't ask the person for my bin files or DVD key.

Try as I might, I can no longer get a hold of him. If I wanted to get this info myself would I have to do the usual key extracting method with the probe, or can JF simply output it for me?

you dont need the probe, just load from dummy.bin (its in the guide)

If you have the key.bin or dummy.bin file (if he gave it to you) then you don't need the probe to get the key. But if you don't then you need the probe.

this statement is 100% false. ixtreme for liteons added a functionality called "dummy from ixtreme" which u will find in jungleflasher. this will allow u to create a new dummy.bin by simply connecting the drive to sata, with no probe required. im not exactly sure the steps that u need to take, but look around.

Hook up drive, start jungleflasher, select correct dvd drive. Press the dummy button, save all info. Takes all but 5 seconds and your good to go.
