My main question is usermaps.

For those of you unfamiliar with the scene my main concern is getting these maps to play.

Roch Series

The roch series by Pascal Rouaud are quite possibly the best maps ever made as it gives you a free roaming aspect and scenarios not seen or replicated in other maps such as frantically running down the street to take shelter in a grocery store to find it littered with alien scum.

Unfortunately there is no TC for the game and I cannot set one up first hand, also by using user.con to edit the maps in via the grp the maps won't seem to load. I'd really like to give these maps a shot again, play them for yourself and see what I mean.

Thoughts?

They look pretty cool dude, I might have a look into this later on. I got a shitload of other
maps working just fine, so this may go too. biggrin.gif

Sweet, get back to me on how that goes, I had a blast with these maps.

The craziest of them all is roch3 or 4 where you participate in a game show collecting keys, once you win you are rewarded with a mansion, too bad its crawling with aliens. laugh.gif
shareware
put maps and all files in a grp or zip file and add to wads.cfg play them from user maps

I just got it figured out last night and the maps won't play, others will but there must be something special about the roch maps that xduke doesn't like.

oh, and is there a way that I can return to the wad selector or do I have to restart the game completely to pick another map?
