I have two HDDs, one has been on a banned console so it's now corrupted or w/e.
I've heard that you can just recover your Profile on a new HDD and it'll be fine.
Will the saves still be corrupted if I transfer them over to this other HDD?
And if I transferred them back to the first HDD will they (Saves and Profile) be corrupted again if it's not on a Banned 360?

Your HDD doesn't get corrupted from the ban. When your XBox 360 gets banned, their are "security modules" that are removed from the XBox 360. Once they are removed, any game save or gamer profile you load becomes corrupted because these "modules" are no longer there to authenticate it. If you never loaded the profile(s) or game save(s) you can move that HDD to another unbanned XBox 360 and you'll be fine. However, if you have used that HDD on the banned system and you've loaded a gamer profile and/or game save it will be corrupted and will not be read by the unbanned XBox 360. There are ways to restore these corrupted files on the HDD, but it will require you to connect the HDD to the computer and require the use of a few programs to restore them.

So recovering your profile from XBL is false?

You can recover your profile from XBox Live, but only on an unbanned system. Once you use that profile on the banned XBox 360 it will become once again corrupted and inoperable on the unbanned system.

Basically my plan was:
Recover Profile on new HDD.
Transfer saves to new HDD
Tansfer saves and profile back to old HDD.
Of course, I'd be using an unbanned 360.

Game saves and gamer profiles used on a banned console AFTER it is banned will appear as corrupt on every other console (although you can still use them on the banned console just fine). However, this is easily fixable:
http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/xbox-360-t...xbox-360-a.htmlJust follow those steps for each saved game and/or profile and everything will read just fine on another console. I used this for my saves and they all work perfectly.
