Am I right in thinking that Xtreme 5.3 will boot any wave disk as it doesn't do the same checks as ixtreme FW?

I'm just looking for some FW for my offline (no live) box, and from what I have read Xtreme 5.3 should play wave 4/5 etc and xbox1 games?

Could anyone verify this for me?

Yes but it is only for Samsung drives.
