Im pretty handy in most things and ive just joined the xbox scene.
Erm anyway just bought myself a new Western Digital ata133 7,200rpm HDD and I was wonderin how do I go about installing my new one? Anything I need to do specially or what (I know you have to ghost the old drive for a start).
Anyone with links to a guide much appreciated smile.gif

no...not really...just open up ur xbox.... unplug the power cable and the IDE Cable...take off the screws from the side of the tray... put ur *NEW* hard drive in the tray.... align the screw hole and put the screws in...then plug in the power cable and the IDE cable(also set the hard drive jumper settings as CABLE SELECT)... now LEAVE UR XBOX OPEN.... download Slayer's Evo-X Installer (FROM THE USUAL PLACES)...burn the .iso on a CD-RW or a DVD or whatever media works in ur xbox and then just boot up ur xbox and put that CD or DVD in! wink.gif
