I have searched the boards but i cant see an exact answer to this so il fire away.
I have not connected to live since i read of the banwave and my console is as yet unbanned or should i say (Not locked down)
I have registered the console and sent a repair request to try to see if it has been flagged, i recieved this error.

Now im assuming that this means that the console is flagged for a ban but does anyone know for sure??
Also if i were to connect the network and check the connection status numbers will this lock down the consoles HD capability??

2 - if you connect to live and are tagged you will get the hammer.

unless you completed repair request .....
your flagged for a ban ..meaning as soon as you connect your ban.....
now do me a favor...grab val2.0

goto system settings in your console to were you see the id and serial number....
start val2.0 add your info as it asks..then when you add the x value x:blabla
add that in the val2.0 you don't need to add the - either
and post here what it shows............

How reliable is this tool?

That tool is VERY RELIABLE for telling you if the console has ALREADY been banned. I've only seen it display two things, you're already banned, or you're not. Do we really need a prog for that?

Well i dont know anything more than i did before so the verdict is Fook all...
One thing i do know is i can feel free to hack and mod this particular unit without fear of being banned from live with it.!
To be honest i was trying to fish for a bit of info as to how i could find out if the console had been flagged by M$ as the site search brought me sweet FA..
