Dude....
This rocks i love it.....Nice one....how about a new feature though....
Here goes:
Whenever i update CVS i am constantly having to change the .xml every day so how about it being able to auto fill in the known preferences from last time?
Its embarrasing though.... in 2months you done more for the scene than me now!

Well I just checked the file I uploaded and the program is there with the readme.
I used WinRAR 3.20 to compress it. Try updating WinRAR.

I thought this program was going to be the "shizzle" but I'm still having problems getting version 2.4 to work. I've tried everything I can. I'm using a DHCP type of connection, I've totally deleted 2.3 from the MS Dashboard. I typed my ip address into every blank that had the default ip. I have all my movies on the f partition, but when I go to the videos section it's blank. Any help please.
Update
**** I finally got it to work, I had to rename the folder from movies to videos on my f partition for XBMP to recognize the file. I hope this helps for anybody else having this problem****

Wish I could use your program, but I get an error:
"Component 'Comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
Fresh install of WinXP with SP1 yesterday..
dunno what's up
Some help would be nice =)

You need Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime Libraries.

That'd be nice to have but I don't think I can do that because the config.xml file can change with each release.
Maybe I should include the VB6 Runtimes?
Expect another release in about a week with XBMP related tutorials as part of it. And possibly a batch renaming of jpgs to tbns.

the runtime libraries don't include the .ocx controls, they software developer should include them.

Next release will be in a few days if not sooner. Also there is an error in this one. Thie music playlists option just comes up as empty tags in the config.xml. But I fixed this now that I found it.

flattspott, thank you for a very useful program that has help me out a lot, much appreciated
after updating to the 24-06-03 with its corrupted config.xml with many missing parts I tried to copy down the missing parts and import them to the damaged config.xml file in this update and have not had any luck, as my dash board on exit was still booting up to MS dash despite the fact that I had edited that part of the config.xml and replaced the xbox.dash to default.dash.
Uisng your config.xml maker the dash problem was fixed for me.
Great job. In anticipation for the next release.
