I was doing a softmod through hotswapping, and something went wrong. Now the dash it deleted but it can still boot up games. It cannot boot burned games though. So I need to do one of three things-
1. Find out the kernel version without dash (I used a disc made for another Xbox like an idiot) so I can finish the softmod
2. Restore the dash somehow so I can find the kernel version
3. Mod it some other way (Don't want to use a chip)
Full Version: Deleted Ms Dash
Try putting in a LIVE enabled game. Select play on LIVE or whatever option it is to go on LIVE. You don't need an account or Internet access. The game will detect if the MS Dash is the latest and update it for you.
