I had a grounded problem with my JTAG setup that I was able to fix by clipping a wire that was protruding through the underside of the mobo. However, while troubleshooting that one problem I managed to goof up my JTAG hack. Could someone give me some monitor points with a volt meter? Like for instance, what does your multimeter read under the board on pin 1 of J2D2 to pin DB1F1 on setting 20. Just some basic stuff like that would really help me out. Thanks.

Here are some samples i'm getting:

Multimeter is set on Check and 20Ohms(i think that's measured in Ohms):
Touching + to pin 1 and - to pin 2 I get 27.0.
Touching + to pin 1 and - to pin 7 I get 11.2.
Touching + to pin 1 and - to DB1F1 I get 19.6.
Touching + to pin 2 and - to DB1F1 I get 40.0.
Touching + to pin 1 and - to RF Panel pin 6 I get 33.0.

PS - I have the 256mb Jasper.

I flashed my original image back and it boots fine. Not sure what the deal is. I'm flashing XBR back again and I guess I will do some more experimenting. Any advice or sample points with a multimeter would be greatly appreciated.

could you please check voltages with and without attached jtag wires ?
ive got some problems with the 3xrod and voltages would really help

pin 1 --> ground (case)
pin 2 --> ground (case)

pin 1 --> db1f1
pin 2 --> RF panel

db1f1 --> ground
RF --> ground

thanks

WITHOUT JTAG:
20 Ohm
pin 1 --> ground (case): 13.3
pin 2 --> ground (case): 13.3

pin 1 --> db1f1: 42.4
pin 2 --> RF panel: 33.7

db1f1 --> ground: 22.1
RF --> ground: 15.5

strange, i get totally different readings (console turned off, no power adapter)

pin 1 --> ground (case) = 1.56
pin 2 --> ground (case) = 1.56

pin 1 --> db1f1 = 3.58
pin 2 --> RF panel = 4.18

db1f1 --> ground = 2.00
RF --> ground = 2.42
Guy Montag
Yeah. That's probably why my JTAG isn't working. I'm moving on to a different console and trying it. Lol. I'll take better measurements before I start dicking around with this one.

Here's what I get for the untouched xbox360 that I just got.

WITHOUT JTAG:
20 Ohm
pin 1 --> ground (case): 13.6
pin 2 --> ground (case): 13.6

pin 1 --> db1f1: 46.7
pin 2 --> RF panel: 35.0

db1f1 --> ground: 37.9
RF --> ground: 15.7

So are those considered to be correct values for the JTAG wires and points?
