Is it possible to install internal speakers in the xbox? like solder the wires from and laptop speakers to the sound pins at the AV conector?

To add speakers, you will need an additional stereo speaker amplifier.
The audio signals on the AV connector are to weak to drive a speaker directly.
You could buy a couple of cheap pc speakers and use the amplifier out of them.
They usually have the headphone plug as well.
(You don't need as much signal as for speakers, but you still need more than available on the AV connector for a headphone.)
