run,
so from synaptic, i downloaded python2.2, mime-support, and verified that a necessary lib file was installed so i could download bittorrent (plus gui) thru synaptic.
this went well, but when i execute bittorrent in term, it returns bittorrent: command not found
since i have never ad luck with wine, id like to keep things as native as possible (stay away from wine + utorrent, etc). any tips for setting up either bittorrent or qtorrent?

update:
a reboot seems to have rectified the problem. btornado is running and i found the "click to mount" applet that i didnt realize was there before. thanks to the screen fix, i can now easily click and mount, and in this case i am now torrenting to my videos folder on my f partition. it was *never* this easy before i understood linux.
i decided that spring semester i will probably enroll for linux certification where im at out here.
