In this tutorial I´m using Total Video Converter

1.Open Total Video Converter and select your video

2.When it asks what format you want to convert click the AVCHD & HD Video Tab and select Xvid-HD video

3.Then Select HD Xvid Video 1280x720 (*.avi) and then click settings

4.On Audio Option Tab change the Sampling Rate to "Original Frame Rate(or System Default)" and Bit Rate to "Original Bit Rate(or System Default)"

5.Now on Video Option Tab change the Frame Rate to "Custom 24 frames/second" and Bit Rate to "Original Video Bit Rate(or System Default)" and then click ok

6.And finally click "Convert Now"

And there the file is converted with almost no loss of quality

PS: This is not a joke

Oh I forgot something can a moderator or admin pin this?

After Conversion:

As you can see there is almost no difference

Don't mean to belittle your efforts, but there's a few problems to consider:

What happens if the bitrate of the source material is too much for the console to handle? Just changing the video/audio codecs is not enough to guarantee any file will play.

It also appears that "Total Video Converter" is not free software: A guide that costs users nothing would be best.

You might find it worth taking a read through this thread.

I can stream videos with 6000kbps off my laptop and run smoothly and here is a free video converter:
