ok so i have one normal xbox and one newly jtagged xbox, on my normal one i have a 20gig stock hdd and on my jtag i have a memory unit and 1TB external hdd.

i have ripped all my dlc for rock band and guitar hero aswell as a few other games so that i can use them on my jtag xbox without the risk of banning my un modded box incase the hdd messes up or something (im not very technically minded)

im using 360Dashit and i can play my XBLA games from the external drive by putting them in the "content 000...." folder but i cant seem to get my DLC working at all.
my DLC is too big to fit on my MU, ive ripped my Guitar hero and rock band disks to my jtagged box and now i just need to get the DLC working.
how can i do it? is it possible?
any help is great thanks

I personally have never used 360dash it, but I believe with every DLC there is a title update. Have your tried placing the title updates in the cache folder yet and then seeing if your DLC is available?

ive tried putting the update in the cache folder on the MU but not the actual external hdd.
ill give it a try but im assuming that you cant do it atm for the same reason you cant save to an external hdd... unless you CAN save to an external hdd then its all good

You kow you can setup any hdd as internal hdd, even a 3.5 inch one you just have to mod the connector there is a thread on how to do it in the hardware section. You could also use any 2.5 inch hdd in official ms shell without any modifications. I just bought a portable 500 GB segate freeagent for $90, and a shell from ebay for 14$, if you do this it will probably cause a lot less headache. Let me know if you need help I can walk your through the simple process.

Oh and in case you were interested here is the documentation on the 3.5 inch mod:
