Hi, I'm fairly new to Xbox Modding, but after reading and researching into how to do it I decided to go for Hotswapping (main reason being I don't have the necessary things to do the gamesave exploit)

Anyway, I burned a copy of XboxHDM V1.09 and booted from CD and when I try to run Xbrowser or XboxHD (most common functions) it comes up with "Linux CD Not Found" showing a load of strings looking for the CD

I searched the forums to see if I could find a solution, however none of the setups were the same as mine, I'm currently using a PC with 2 SATA HDDs connected, and one IDE slot, with my DVD Drive connected by an external. I'm fairly sure I've set the Xbox HD to Master (Putting the jumper in the pins next to the IDE slot)

Other possible relevent details:

Xbox System Version
K:5838
D:5960

Any solutions or ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated smile.gif

xboxhdm 1.9 won't work on a PC with only one IDE port. Try xboxhdm 2.1 - it boots from a USB stick or a CD, and gives you much more flexibility with your IDE ports, and I'm sure it works with single IDE PCs.

Thanks for the help so far, I've downloaded it and put it onto my Memory Stick, however, when applying the MBR it's saying that it's a bad partition, I ran Chkdsk on command prompt but no errors were found, is installing the MBR necessary??

If so any idea on how to make the memory stick compatible with Grub4Dos?
