I was wondering how the ps3 buttons worked, they are some odd looking things

LOL turn the switch on the back to on and on the front to turn on just touch once and to turn off hold for about 3 secs.

Turn off your ps3, then flick the switch at the back to off too. now while it's off, hold the eject button and flick the switch on the back to on, this will make your ps3 sound like a dyson hoover and should force eject the disc from the drive. Power off your ps3 after it beeps a couple times and turn it back on.
if you cant get the disc out this way, if you intend to send it to get fixed, you'll get your disc back from sony.
