I have a Jasper/256 JTAG'd NTSC-U console running the latest xbreboot (ver _3). I want to run a region locked game. Do I have to run the game through XeXtools or will it boot straight up from the drive? My external USB HD is down right now so I can not install the game to that. I am hoping that I can burn it, load it up, then install it to the HD via the dash like a normal game. Can someone clarify and clear this up for me. Finding conflicting/misleading answers in searching. Thank you in advance for your time.

You still have to patch the xex in order for it to work. I just extract the defualt.xex with wxripper patch and then replace.
