Hay. I have been having a little trouble soldering the wire to the D0 on the bottom of the motherboard. If the traces are broken what errors would come up when booting? At the moment I am using a spare harddrive that is not locked so when I boot in I get a error 5. If the traces were broken would I even get that error?

easiest way to repair a trace is to just use a conductive pen. they go for like 10 bucks at radio shack.
