Hello members of xbox-scene,

First thank you for all the helpfull information I got here. It's really great that so much people are interessted in modding their consoles.
But now I stuck with a problem where reading does not help:

I own a softmodded (pal) 1.0v xbox with a ST 1mb TSOP.
After I soldered the 2 bridges I launched evox from unleashx and chose the biosfile "X2_5035 VGA.67" (snowman) to overwrite the previous one. (the bios size is 512k but I thought evox chance it to fit the 1 mb..)
However the flash went well... but
I damn stupid idiot have not read that this bios only is for ntsc boxes...
Now, when I boot up the box unleash starts (I know it because it startes to play a random song) but the TV screen still do not change.
I've tried to connect the box with an beamer but it does not work.
However, I am able to browse the xbox via ftp.

What shell I do now? I would prefer to flash the TSOP with with the latest iND bios.
How can I change the bios now..without a screen...?

Sorry for my bad english...

Thank you for every good answer!

Thank you very much!

It worked well (I only had to use DVD+R, CD-R did not work)!
I successfully was able to replace the current bios with the IND'.

Unfortunately the IND bios did not start my default dash which is located in E:\dash\default.xbe.
I was not able to set this in the *.cfg file. Changes although take effect (tested with wireframe blub) but I could not set my dash to the default. Screen keeps black after blub.

I was so stupid to set AUTOLOADDVD to '0'.. now I am not longer able to boot Frostys Rescu Disk..
I try now to solv the problem by building the hd again with xbhdm.

If anyone know a solution, tell me please.

Thanks!

I got the Rescue disk working again, but still no success with setting the dashboard.
I tried also to set xbmc as my default dash, but if I want to boot, the screen become black after the blub dissapeard!

My ind-bios.cfg:

DASH1=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\unleasx\Default.xbe
DASH2=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\nexgen.xbe
DASH3=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\avalaunch.xbe
DEFAULTXBE=\Device\CdRom0\default.xbe

Harddisk0 is the first harddisk (and the onliest) and partition2 is c, d E..the third partition..
What the fck do I wrong?!

Thank you for every helpfull command!

Thank you so much! Such a simple thing messed me up..rhh
I tought that 0 would be partition 1 because I tought it would be the same like in bootmanager like lilo or grub, or parted in linux.

THANK YOU. Everythink is working well now, tomorow I'll splitt the bios into three: One with cromwell, one with a vga-bios, one backup, and the iND I will keep.
