dont quite get what you mean. are you talking about changing the jewel and replacing the 70mm fan with an 80mm one?
if so, both are relatively easy, privided you have the time to do so.

i think hes trynna say hes takin the jewl out and replacing it with a fan, putting a fan where the jewel was.

ah ok. my mistake. either way, that shouldnt be too hard. just make sure youre handy with a dremel

dremel tool is your best friend when modding.
i dis my jewel install, and it was a peice of cake.

if youre going to do anything, get a good quality dremel if you dont have one, preferably a corded one. dont want batteries going low right when youre almost finished with soemthing.

Speed control is a must! I got the one without it, but used a plugin inline speed controler for it, it's better than the one on the dremels its more accurate.

ive never had a problem with the dremels speed control. as long as you have a steady hand, most of the dremels speed settings should do you well.
