Recently I bought a used 250GB HDD (Samsung Spinpoint). Windows recognized it, chdsk showed no errors.
Than I attempted to replace my softmodded stock-hd with the new one and that's a long story:
+ I Used kingroaches-installer & xboxhdm to mod it, everything went fine. Turned the box on, unleashx showed me that F: partition has just 25GB. Tried xbpartitioner to fix it, tried other utilities, nothing worked.
Then I tried to mod it with xbhdm again but the installation got frozen and I had to abort it.
Later on I realized that the jumper was set to 32GBg restriction...
+ Attemped to mod it with kingroach & xboxhdm2 via USB. Bootet from USB, accesed the HD via xbrowser, started *ndure and it stopped because it was waiting for a CD.
+ Next try with Ultimate Boot-CD v4.0. While copying the exploits to C: the procedure was aborted due to insufficient partition-space (?)
+ Tried XBMC Installer Deluxe CD, procedure got frozen while copying file to C:
+ Tried error 5 hotswapping method via lxhdm again the copying-process stopped abruptly
=> Eventually tried kingroach/xbohdm via CD again, during those "3 steps" i got the error-messages
"NKP11, no such file or directory found"
"not enough space on Partition C:"
Tried to lock the HD anyway, got the "drive frozen message". Tried to lock the drive in another PC and it worked.
Now my xbox boots with the UnleashX dash, Partition C: has a size of 0 MB, E: 4,8GB, F: 230GB, no G:
Can I risk it to leave the HD, dash, XBOX the way they are now or do I have to expect something could still go wrong in the future e.g. games start to crash etc.?
