Hi it has been a while since i've dealt with xbox softmods and i have a question. I currently have an xbox with a crappy SID softmod on it, and would like to update to the safer ndure. I also have an old xbox hard drive that has a perfectly fine ndure softmod on it, it was taken out of another xbox for a bigger hard drive. Will i run into problems if i simply replace the SID softmod hard drive with the hard drive that has a fully setup Ndure softmod on it on it?

Yes, because the original disk is locked to the original Xbox, so you'll get error 6 if you swap it into a different Xbox.
Which version of SID did you use? The newer versions use NDURE.

I vaguely remember, but if I had to guess it would be S.I.D. 2.0. It was around 2005. Its been quite a while!

Take care of differing kernel versions between source xbox and target xbox for Ndure too. Do you have eeprom backup for target xbox?
