So, I bought an ATX to Xbox Converter 2 a while ago to use a standard PSU with my v1.3 xbox. I soldered it in and it worked perfectly. However, I further modded my xbox and the wires from PSU>atx2xbox>xbox mobo would no longer reach so I had to resolder the power cables to the chip. Now, when I connect power to my PSU, the xbox side of the chip reads 2.8vsb* on the 3.3v lines (while PSU is off) and the 3.3vsb line reads nothing (PSU off and on).
LD1 lights up on power connect, LD2 and LD3 light up in that order and go out in that order on bridging 2.8vsb to PowerON and removing the bridge, respectively, and the PSU seems fully functional when on except for the continued absence of any voltage on what should be the 3.3vsb line.
Is this just a bad solder job or have a ruined my chip somewhere along the way?
*I point this out because it used to read around 3.27v and 2.8 seems really low.
