Got my latest case mod done, and it isn't looking like I wanted it to. I cleared the Jewel using alcohol, and cut out the opening below. Behind that I put a blue neon bulb in, lined up so it goes across the lettering on the jewel. The problem is that the bulb is too thin, and it just doesn't look right.

What I want to do is give the jewel a more translucent, or frosted look, so the bulb looks less defined. Is there something I can spray on the back of the jewel, or lay down some other material under it?

do u have a pic of it?

you could try rough sand paper, hot glue, or both..... maybe spread a thin layer of paint on it.

hmm u should get some opaque paint and spary it on to the jewel it a good way to cover up a little the neon also spread the glow more even or even try to paint some tracing paper with the opaque paint.. oh well thats my opinion
