hey Grim, question I ordered nand x based on your recommendation, however the date for it's release keeps getting pushed back. Should I request a refund or wait and hang in there? Also is it possible to terminate nand X like your usb spi flashers?

Sorry for the noob question, but are these region free? I just want to boot legit original ntsc-j and ntsc-u/c game discs without any additional hassle.

can it be installed like the usb spi where you have a mini usb port underneath the harddrive to connect it to a pc? thx

im not sure if the xbr consoles have the dash launch/region free update but its pretty easy to apply, freeboot is region free.


you will probably have to mount it a little different but im sure you can find a way to make external access possible.

About two months back you fixed my E74 error. I started getting the 3rrod. I tried a couple different power cords and got the same results. I'm sure its the box. Can you help me out again?

The code is 0031. From what I found it appears that the heatsink is too tight. Looks like an easy fix, although I don't trust myself taking it apart. Let me know what you think?

Hey I'm definitely interested in buying a jtagged xenon with ixtreme. I just have a few questions.

You can play games off a usb drive right? And do these come with freeboot or xbr installed? And could I change that myself without any special equipment?

And how reliable are your xboxs? I've seen a few people in this thread complaining about rrods. Is that a small minority or a significant amount? Are they more or less reliable than a stock xbox? Any idea what the failure rate is?

yes you can play games from a usb drive.
yes i have consoles with freeboot and consoles with xbr, you can use flash360 to update/downgrade the nand.
ive sold around 200 consoles since early December, so far ive gotten about 25 back with 3rlod.
if the console is still working after about 90 days of use then yes i would say its alot more reliable then a stock 360.

Alright sweet. I'll buy a xenon in the next 24 hours unless my xbox decides to come to life again. I'm overheating it for the 3rd or 4th attempt and it's not looking very promising.

1. They come with either freeboot or XBReboot, probably freeboot though, since it has the latest kernel.

2. Xexmenu is just an app for ripping the games and loading xex's, so yes, you need Xexmenu.

3. He seems to fix them if they rrod again within 90 days.

That's all I can answer. I've been keeping up with grim for months, trying to find the best seller for Jtag 360's, and he seems to be the best.
