I have no idea if I'm in the right forum whit this question (if not ,please move it to the right one)
My idea is to build a new smaller Xbox case. To be able to do this I need to remove the DVD-drive.
Problem is that xbox does not start when DVD is not attached.
To be able to start the system I remove the PCB board from the DD and now system starts whitout any problem.
But still I would like to remove this PCB also due to not enough space in my new Xbox case.
MY Xbox (V1.0) already has a Alladin XT modchip.
When I start it up I do get the Executer 2 logo on screen.
Can someone help me to figure out which BIOS i need to have to be able to run the Xbox whitout DVD drive?
