I was wondering how much an xbox would be worth that has never been connected to xbox live and what mods could you do with it? Thanks

It depends on what comes with the console.
I usually give $20-30 with cables and a controller.
You can chip it, soft mod it, or flash the TSOP depending on the version. From there you can use it to stream media from a PC or server. Access HULU on the Internet. Use it as a retro gaming system with emulators. The list is not quite endless, but there are many possibilities.
