New guy here, just finished jtagging an old xenon console. Now I'm trying to install Xexmenu. I'm following the these instructions:

Step 1:
Burn XeXmenu v1.1 ISO To A CD-R
(
Step 2:
Insert CD-R Into JTAG And Boot By Pressing A

Step 3:
Once In XeXmenu, Press Left Bumper 2 Times

Step 4:
Press X And Highlight DvD: Press A

Step 5:
Highlight c0de999 And Press Y, Highlight COPY, And Press A

Step 6:
Press X And Highlight HDD1: Press A

Step 7:
Navigate Through HDD1: content: 0000000000000: Press Y And Highlight PASTE And Press A
(Make Sure It's HDD1: content: 16 zeros: One More Or Less Zero Will Cause It Not To Install Properly!)

Step 8:
Go To Dashboard And Take Out Burned CD-R

Step 9:
Go To Games Tab And Highlight XeXMenu v1.1

Step 10:
Press A And You Have Installed XeXMenu To Your JTAG.

I gone through this twice, it seems to be copying the files, in fact the second time it asked if I want to replace the files, which would suggest the files got copied. When I take the disk out and reboot there is no Xexmenu to choose from. Am I missing something stupid again ?

Nevermind figured it out, had to go down one more level when pasting the files and it worked.

Not so much an install problem I think but I can't connect via FTP to my console when in Xexmenu but Freestyle works sweet?
I have a static IP set in NXE which shows up in both Xexmenu and FSD but only FSD works, are there additional settings in Xexmenu that need to be done?

I don't know if this matters or not but do you have Passive Mode unchecked in your FTP client? Because I have this unchecked and xexmenu works fine for me, but I can never get a connection while in FSD. So maybe that is the problem

I use Filezilla so I will check. I was thinking it was something in Xexmenu but there's nothing that I can see yet.

Nah! Passive is enabled, don't know. No big deal, as long as one's working that's all I need.

Edit: Duh, you said unchecked.

i'm having trouble as well trying to get XEXMENU installed onto my JTAGGED Xenon console.I've burnt the ISO file to disk.Put it into my drive,the disks then brings up the XEXMENU,i've followed this TUT to install it but when i go into the xbox 360's dashboard then goto the Games Libary,there's no XEXMENU there to click on to finish the installation.I've been trying now for the past 3 days to get this installed but not having any luck so far,really hoping someone can help me on this please guys
