i am testing ps3's consoles.
now i have the following problem.
i have 60gb psu's and 40gb consoles, but those 40gb console uses other powersupply's
now here comes my question.
60gb psu
5pins, 1 pin 3,3v
2 pin gnd
3 pin gnd
4 pin 5v
5 pin 5v
this is from left to right.
ps3 powersupply directy added to the board with 2 big connector's
1 connector 12v
2 connector gnd
now the 40gb console has 3 pins
1.pin = 5v
2.pin = gnd
3.pin = pson
can somebody help ?
the question = is pson 3,3v?
so if i wire my 60gb as this:
60gb
5.pin to 40gb 1.pin
3.pin to 40gb 2.pin
1.pin to 40gb 3.pin
will this work?
i dont want to destoy 40gb mainboards that maybe still work.
