so im in the process of getting my 360 jtagged.
i mailed a flash drive with it asking for a backup of my nand because i hear thats good to have
is there anything else i should ask for?
it will come with Freeboot 9199, XexMenu,NXE2GOD and few emulators are there any other apps that i should get?
also is there a media player? i love xbmc on my original xbox but not being able to play HD blows
also when a update comes out because im sure it will happen how do i do that?

You did right in getting a NAND backup - you'll need it for when a new bootlaoder comes out (normally shortly after a new dash update is out).

Get the guy to pop FreeStyle dash on there - it's a great alternate dashboard to NXE - it has inbuilt fanspeed mods etc.

There's no media player at the mo - so you're stuck with NXE's avi playback sadly.

When there is a dash update, you'll be able to update the NAND yourself via USB + your newly created bootloader.

?¿? Wasn't there a DivX codec/player for the jtag's, a few months ago. Like "DivXDark" or something similar. The aternative codec to connecting to live. OR is codec not "media player" enough for you guys? I know nothing like XBMC. Personlly I find a HDMI cord between cpu and tv offers me the best media player/lag free, I could ever want.
