First off, what bios are you using on your xbox mod-chip?
Most of these can be edited to make small differences in the startup
like flubber color, changing the color of the big "X" on boot and doing
away with the words "microsoft" and adding something else. Once again
though it really depends on what BIOS your currently using. You can also
change the start up of XBMC itself. Instead of it saying "XBMC" you can set
it to almost what ever you want if the picture size is correct. Just look in the
xbmc folder under "media" and you'll see a file called Splash.png. That is
the picture that it uses so you can replace it with a picture, rename that picture
to Splash.png and reboot XBMC to see if it worked.

Cheers

PS- For custom startup you should use the following two bios's (IMO)
X2-5035
or
Indi-bios
Both can be flashed to your chip
