Prior to the installation of the CVS update 24-06-03 Imy XBMP 2.4 was running happily with the CVS 16-06-03 and no problem.

Looking at the config.xml file of the 6-24-03 I had found that a great proportion of the commands are missing but decided to install it anyway.

While I get the XBMP 2.4 with the CVS 6-24-03 update loading up every time I attemp to view any movie as oppose to see the full picture I see a big blub of flashing colors as if the screen is zoomed all the way in and the blubs are pixles that are blowen up 10 times their size. Whilethe tumb nail of the movie was playing fine when ever I pressed the blue botton on the controller.

Thinnking that the problem could have been due to the bad caliberation I tried the picture caliberation with no effect. Same with the aspect ratio as well.

Next I tried to clean the system bin temp files in UDATA and TDATA did not help and I still could not view any part of the movie other than a big flashing blub that filled the screen making it appear as the screen is flashing as the movie was playing.

Thinking to go back to the CVS 24-06-03 would be possible, I loaded the CVS 24-06-03 which used to be there and working, but it did not work this time and the same blocky flasing colors came back despite the fact that the movie was clearly visible in the tumb nail size.

I did not want to post a huge list of the config files here as I amnot sure if I am allowed to do that.

The only way I was able to get the XBMP working normally again was clearing the whole XBMP folder and reinstalling the

CVS 15-06-03 update as the CVS 16-06-03 was not working at all , despiute the fact that I have even did a full format and install.

I would be greatful for any suggestion that could help me find out what this problem is as I really want to run the latest updates as I used to do with out any drama. sad.gif huh.gif

I had the same problem. Here is what I did:

The calibration is offa bit so you get a zoomed in type look (mostly black screen with occational flashes). So I deleted the system.bin file and also the calibartion files in that same folder. Start up XBMP and start a video. Go into settings, screen, calibrate. In that window use the left pogo stick type control. Don't use the flat sega like control on your xbox pad. Adjust your screen areas with the pogo stick. You should now start seeing your video. Save that all out and you should be ok. I had the exact same problems u mentioned. This is what I did to fix mine. Hope it works as well for you!

Appreciate the Help BDSAINT your suggestion worked, I guess I was only moving the left joy stick side ways as oppose to up and down while in caliberation Mode. Thanks again for your help biggrin.gif
