are you puting an additional fan on the intake spot or something?

otherwise i dont really see why
seems it would make it hotter not cooler

Ya, You need to explain what you mean
ashfungo
i dont think that will work well at all...

Just put them the normal way with fans pushing air through them out the back.

Ya, You need to explain what you mean

so u have 2 cpu sinks and have them 90° mounted like in pic then have a fan on top to take air in
then the shroud modified so the back fans suck the air out from the sides of the sinks.

I see you put a fan on the top in the middle of the two sinks. If you make sure that that is the only place where the air will blow through then it will work. I dont think people realized that you were putting a fan on the top and separating it from the outside of the sinks.

I think it will work well if you did it right

This is what i think you are trying to say

You'll have to use the regular aluminum cpu heatsink for the cpu. The pipe on the copper one will cause issues with the caps. Also I assume this is a jtag system or you're making a custom case because you'll be hard pressed to have a dvd drive in there.
