Hi, I was reading "Solder only the wires leading to the LPT port connector for now, unless your 100% sure your XBOX is exploitable." at http://docs.google.com/View?id=dnfmv5h_30dw33vpf4 and I was wondering with a xenon board with a dash of 7357, I could skip? the entire dump (assuming I could get it from the Cfw later) and continue on with the installation of xell/xellous and an os? Thanks

You're going to need some way for the xbox to communicate with the 360. Also you need the NAND to inject xell/xellous into. The quote from the guide means don't go through the trouble of doing the jtag wires if you're unsure whether or not the system is exploitable.

Its understandable you want to get it up and running faster but some corners just can't be cut.

Ahh ok I understand after re-reading it as in only connect the LPT wires not the jtag ones. Thanks.
