hi like the title in the thread the problem is to connect the x360 to the pc
in order to see the files on the pc on the xbox
(not wireless with the cable in the ethernet port)
the SO is win 7
i tried to put the static ip on the x an on the pc like i do on the xbox1 but it really doesn't work
so i tried with the dynamic but is the same thing...
where i wrong? is there anything else i must do?

are you running a custom dash like xexmenu or freestyle? if so, just get filezilla. go into site manager and enter the ip address in host, and xbox in username and password. go to transfer settings and set it for active

ok then you cant ftp to it like the old xbox. the only way you can mess with it is to take your hard drive apart and connect it to your pc via sata cable. tut here
the latest tool to use would be 360 commander here

i intend to connect the xbox 360 and see the pc files in order to see video in streming by pc
not only connect xbox hard disk to pc

If you want to stream film/music/picyures from your pc to your XBOX360 try a program called Tversity.
just do a search on google as there is a free version that runs brill

Are you connecting your PC directly to your Xbox with a crossover cable, or are you connecting both to your broadband switch / router?

the xbox is connect directly to pc with a crossover cable - no internet connection
