I have a big problem on my hands with the duo x3.
After messing up a tsop flash to my xbox 1.0, i decided to buy the duox3(non flashbios/cromwell version). I soldered it via the quicksolder method(so i could access the switch easily) and correctly soldered all the points, including f1 and f2. When i try to flash it (both banks) with a flash utility such as raincoat, evox, or eurasia flash disk, it says my chip will not erase and has that 0x09 error. The site that i bought it from says that it "is booted with flash protection", and it also says it is a replacement for the apple v chip. I checked the apple chip archives and the v chip looks nothing like the duox3 and it looks like the website just copied the apple v chips description into their page.

i have been trying to get the chip to flash for about 2 weeks, hour or more a day.

Can someone please help me get my chip flashed?

their must be some kind of write protect on the chip or something. 0x09 is usually the error code you get when you dont bridge the WE on the tsop and you attempt to flash it
