Sony killed all the dongles!

For now, rumors are a work-around is coming tomorrow!

What is over ? I dont use internet on Ps3, and stays at 3.41, and in time dongles will be updatable as well to bypass this. Grow up.

Just like there are people with 2 (or more) Xbox360 consoles, one jtagged for offline and one "clean" for online play then I'm sure there are also people with 2 PS3 consoles like that as well. It will become a problem when they include the FW update with games. Perhaps those could be altered to remove them unless it needs functionality that the FW provides (eg Move support).

Shouldn't that be Sony 1 / Hackers 1 . We still got the use of the USB dongles in the first place. Sony have only equalised.

Yup no biggie here ether. In fact I think it is a good thing. Just like the 360 and JTAG the PS3 using jailbreak should never be allowed to be on PSN.

2 PS3's. 1 for homebrew and 1 for PSN that I never use anyway.

I have respect for him, chill out. I want ps3 hack to last, Sony deserve this. Why to change my laser after 500 hours ? 10 years life span ? with 4 ps3 in my room maybe. Not tell about Ylod or some shit errors.
And i dont want Move to play with cats or magic maker, PSN is not for me, barely have time to finish offline games. And what about programming ? They release versus 13 before ps4.
I want to play off hdd, to last my only ps3 at least 5 years, thats all. and loading times of course.

Cant believe the usb spi nand flasher for 360 seems to have gone un noticed as a usable device.

Flashed mine and works great. Also can be flashed back to do jtags.

X2 if it wasn't for garyopa posting news about 3.42 my roommate would have updated my PS3 so if u dont know about someone 100% dont make comments that hold no water
