hello everyone

basically i'm wondering if i could use the 20 gig hard drive from the pro, but take the hdd out of the housing, and use the cable thats hooks the drive to the xbox, could i change that one cable end to a usb so i could use it as an external?



that is what i'm talking about, take the one end that plugs into the xbox, and cut it and wire it somehow to a usb male head, probably need two, just like a regular external, one for power and one for data

any thoughts?

Why in the world would you want to do that? and to answer your question, no, that'd be like hooking sata directly to usb, lol very bad.
