I have a ms28 here which I think I have stuffed. I tried to spoof it to a BenQ but as soon as Jungle started to erase/write it crashed my pc. This was done using a xecuter pro. Now, when I turn on my xecuter with the ms28 attached it will crash my pc. I tried dosflash and iprep as well now and neither of the 2 will even see the drive.

Any ideas as to how I can bring this drive back to life. I already have the key off it so thats not a drama.

Cheers
Paul.

The drivers can't be installed for the sata controller you are using to flash it.

That is the only thing i know of that causes the computer to crash like you are describing.

you dont mention what sata you have used, xecutor pro is only a power supply for a samsung, serves no other purpose, sounds like you have used onboard sata and that has failed at the writing stage, and now you have a bad flashed drive, you need to use via/nforce chipset and bad flash recover,so buy a via card remove the drivers, and use vcc trick to bad flash recover the drive.

Thanks for the replies guys. Got it working now after reading the replys. I freshly formated this pc but forgot to remove the via card drivers. I deleted the drivers then was able to get the drive flashed again.

Thanks once again for the replies, much appreciated. smile.gif
