like about a week ago my old xbox broke down is the old xbox not the 360 so i found out it was the hdd so i maked a new one with linux recovery tool or something like that and at the end it asked me for a password so i can lock it and i am new at this so i dont know what to do because i donnt have the eprom diferent story xD (i tried to hack it before i failed, so i got a friend to install a mod chip) i think i skrew up again and i want to know if i can get a master password o how to get the password, i think it says error 5 and if so how do i install the password... or any sugestions or waht would you do in mi situation

an xbox1 with a chip as far as i know does'nt need locking!

Most modchips do remove the drive lock check, though error 05 means that this one hasn't.

To lock the HDD you'll need a copy of the HDD key, stored in the system EEPROM. Assuming you don't already have a backup of that, you'll need an EEPROM reader to get it.
