So I have always hated the NXE dashboard, it's ugly and just feels cluttered.
I have made friends with a couple applications "FreeBlade V1.1A / Xbox 360 Blades" in a quite sad attempt to stay away from NXE.
Although FreeBlade can be launched from NXE, I still have to deal with the NXE Guide, which was their way of preserving the blade feel of the Xbox360, although i never liked the idea of the new guide either.
Just noting this for further reference, Xbox 360 Blades, is just about the same as FreeBlade, except it launches as an application in XeXMenu, and is a little more stable.

I have tried the new Kinect dashboard, i like the white on black on green feel, it's much better than NXE, but I believe that the creater of FreeBoot has retired from the Scene, therefore there will be no more FreeBoot, because he took the Source Code with him.

Now, getting to the point of this Thread.

I was wondering if it was possible to load unsigned code in Pre-NXE, is there a JTag exploit for 6717?
Or maybe something earlier?
My JTag is a K4532 "From what I have read.", the last version to be downgradable, and it's currently running 9199, not really related, just thought it might be helpful, incase there is something prior to 6717-453X+.

Also i found this piece of information "2.0.2255.0-January 30, 2006-Blocklist for certain .xex files"
Could this be unsigned .xex files?

As far as I know, XBR/Freeboot are both NXE based only. However, there's a good Blades skin for Freestyle Dash 2. You should give that a try.

No problem. Also, look into installing Dash Launch so you can avoid NXE completely and your 360 will boot straight into your dash of choice.

If you use Freestyle Dash w/ the Blades skin as the default dash, it looks and feels like a pre-NXE system

I have already attempted it, for some reason it won't boot into xexmenu or freestyle, i have them assigned to buttons, but i hold the buttons down, and it doesn't work, maybe the version of freeboot i was using?

I did have it successfully done once before, but that JTag bit the dust.

I use autolaunch updpatch and flash360 to automatically load freestyle dash as soon as the xbox loads. No need to assign buttons or anything.
