Teun.
Hello,
ive got a JTAG box with a new HDD connected with a sata cable on the mobo. In the beginning it worked just fine. But i wanted to use my old savegames and DLC's so i tried to transfer them. After e couple of tries it still didn't work and i gave up. I began installing all sorts of JTAG programs on my hdd but sometimes my xbox would give me a E68 error with my drive attached. but after some time it occurred everytime i started my xbox with my harddrive attached. ive formatted the drive serval times in windows but it didnt work. So i tried to make it work with my original 20 gb xbox harddrive. this hdd also gives me a E68 error. o make it clear, my xbox is working fine without a hdd.
i made some pictures of my connections on the mobo. i hope someone could help me cuz im stuck at this point for several months now.

E68 means the hdd is buggered mate, you may as well bin it,or buy a new 2.5 inch sata and put it in the case.Ive had the same problem but MS gave me a new hdd.
pcs
stick your ear next to the hard drive and see if you hear a clicking noise.
