Can i update to the new dash for my offline xbox?

Does it stop me playing games or will it ban me even though i am offline?

new AP2.5 checks will flag offline

so no, it is not safe..Fable 3 Fifa 09 are the only confirmed AP2.5 games though

but still not 100% safe as AP2.5 can and does flag even offline
