Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere but I did try the search and it was doing google searches which ive read a bunch and can't seem to find a for sure answer. I am also new to xbox360 and have a Samsung Syncmaster 2494 id like to use to play my games on. I am having problems finding out what will work for sure to run the xbox360 on it. The monitor has dvi and no hdmi slot and i would really like to know what converter i can get that will let me connect it and play and have a way to plug my pc speakers in for sound. any help you can offer for sure fire ways to do this i am very thankful.

You need a DVI to HDMI cable. I use one and it works perfectly.
DVI sends the exact same video signal as HDMI, just no audio.
These cables are cheap on eBay and work awesomely!
