Hello everyone I hate to sound like a total newbie. I just started using my PS3jailbreak and I'm running into issues with certain titles running as well as my external hard drive booting games. I have been looking through the forum but alot of these methods are not working for me.

I was wondering if I could be pointed to the right Tutorial as well as be recomended with the proper firmware and software that I need to put good full use to my jailbroken system using what I have.

I currently have a jailbroken PS3 on 3.41 with a 250gig internal Hard drive.
I use a at90usb162 with the psgroove_olimex_at90usb162_8mhz_firmware_3_41 firmware.

I tried using the following to boot games some do work, some either give me a black screen and lock up, or I get a 800..19 error:

Rogero_Manager_v7.4
Comgenie-s-Awesome-Filemanager-V0.05b
Gaia_V1.03.1
Open-Manager-2.1H3-Open-Copy-Install-1.1b

Neither will recognize game images on my 2tb fat32 formated external Western digital hard drive, however the system does recognize it in the file manager software, to copy the images on my internal Hard drive.

Games like King of Fighters or Naughty Bear seem to work ok.

However games like Castlevania Lords, Devil May Cry 4, The Shoot, and the new Time Crisis for example give me the 800..19 or 800..17 error. How would I get these to load?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think that might be your problem .. are you certain the at90usb162 is an 8mhz chip ?? ( pretty sure its the same as the Minimus )
Search for MINIMUS ... should get you on the right track

But they dont work.

Was only sucessful with:

But still ran into the issues I had to start with.

What is the actual board name ??? And what are you using to program with ?

actually i am running into problems as well with these new updates. i have two boards and cant get netierh of them to work. i have the teensy 2.0 atmega32u4 chip and i am trying to flash it with the psgroove_psn_3.50_spoof those files that match my chip dont work. i have put back the normal .hex file that i orgionaly had on there and that works but it works without the light going on. i dont get why the light wont go on at all. i have also the at90usb162 chip and that also dont work with the files i got in the folders. that one keeps getting locked. some of them the lights goes on and stays on it used to shut off. for the at90usb i am using flip 3.4.2 and for the teeensy i am using teensy programmer.
any information would be helpfull

Try this for you board

The Olimex AVR USB is a great board.
I use it and it works without any problems.

Just in case anyone is wondering which one to download based on their USB-Based Microcontrollers (MCU):

UPDATE: The latest compiled hexes for PL3 and Hermes v4b are available. Check if the following hexes are correct for each of your device, if does not please report back to me.
