Hell.. If they can make xbox software that reads MP3's off the hard drive of a computer on a lan.. I don't why the same software could not be applied to run homebrew or games...

Just no one ever took the time to look into it cause yes.. I imagine it would be possible.

then you don't understand how games work.a movie runs at...let's say 2 mbit/sec but a game moves data well over 100 mb in 1 sec trough varous parts of the xbox.it's just to slow to use it in games.

another point.the games would have to be run from a app that's supports streaming and the ram of the xbox is limited.the app would take most of it so there's nothing left for the game.

You would be able to execute the xbe on the computor (alas emulating the xbox) and then stream the content from the computor at the same time as you save files to the x y z partion (caching).

Ok.. Maybe not live streaming.. But still.. I remember waiting 5 minutes when loading diablo to play it on my PC... the same could work for the xxbox... They could load the game onto the hard drive (wait of 5 minutes to load).. and then play it..

(I don't know if people would want to wait 5 minutes for a load though.. )

Here is what you would do..

The xbox NIC would work with some TWeAkInG of the dash and Bios.. but you could covert it to a GIGABIT nic.. with alittle electrical tape.. O and FiBer would Work too..

MAKE a new bios... that has RELaX... Samba... or Write your own... Hell use eLetric tape FOR this too...

EDIT or REWRITE a Dashboard .. so it has the shareing shit in it...
