Anyone have any idea how I can tweak this build to use the minimum effects possible or at least disable the background animation?? I read somewhere this background animation uses up to 17% CPU processin' power and I'm sure it doesn't do wonders on the RAM. Even on my debug box it freezes every now and then but it looks damn GOOD!

Depends on the skin you're using. Most skins have a "skin settings" panel somewhere or other.
