Hey guys,

I updated my banned console to the new dash when it first came out.

my 360 has a liteon drive that currently has LT on it.

What i want to know is, is there a way i can patch the AP2.5 games somehow so i am able to play those games on my console without upgrading to LT+?

ive heard something about patching it to wave 3 or something, but i cant remember exactly what it was or how i would go about doing that.

As i said my console is banned so im not worried about protection or anything.

Cheers

It would be easier in the long run to just update your firmware, especially if you plan on buying/backing up alot of newer titles. Yes, only 3 games so far have AP2.5, but you can almost bet on more games being released with it.

Which would be easier....

1. flashing the drive then simply ripping/validating/burning them or,
2. ripping each game, patching each game, then burning hoping the patch worked (assuming MS doesnt implement some check that validates if the games title has the correct wave to it?).

I would rather do option 1 and not worry about it even though your counsel is banned.

Yeh I would rather update the firmware too.

I tried to flash it from LT to LT+ but when I tried I didn't
Realize that I had to cut traces and solder and buy another
Probe just to be able to read the key.

If you have your dvd drives key from earlier you dont need to cut and solder. Simply insert key to LT+ firmware and write to your dvd drive
