i want to buy an external dvd r dl

to burn xbox 360 games thats hooks up to my laptop

Any DVD drive that burns +R DL's should be fine. If possible try get a drive that can write at 2.4x speed as this is the optimum speed for burning xbox 360 games. You should be able to find a cheap drive on most popular online retailers.
