Hello,

Some time ago I used to do some programming.
As at the moment it is possible to write programs for JTAGed consoles, I would like recall the old times and play around a bit, and write some very simple programs that can be run on XBOX 360.
Unfortunately - there is very limited information available on the internet about it.
Could anybody help in creation of such tutorial.
I believe such tutorial may also move forward the whole scene.
Of course - no links below - only names of apps/files etc.
Let's start from the following:

Prerequisites:
(programs/packages required to start)
1.
2.

Sample source code of homebrew applications - available to public:
1.
2.

Tutorial how to prepare an executable package:
1.
2.

Or maybe there is any literature/e-books available that provide useful information.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance!

The first thing you need is the SDK. And the SDK comes with a whole bunch of samples/tutorials/documentation from Microsoft. You'll also need Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 (depending on which SDK you get). That's a good place to start...

Edited because I had said 2003 or 2008...

I believe visual studio 2005 with the first sp for it will enable you to do a full install of the sdk
